Canadian influencer's body positive message: 'Doing it for 80-year-old me'

Sarah Nicole Landry's latest body positive message is striking a chord with fans.

On Monday, the Canadian influencer and self-love advocate — better known as The Birds Papaya — took to Instagram to share a video for her "80-year-old" self, paired with a powerful caption urging her followers to pay less attention to what others think of their bodies.

"Doing it for 80-year-old me to have these memories to replay over and over again," Landry penned for her more than 2 million followers.

"I don't want to be so focused on another's point of view that I forget about this one," she wrote over a reel of herself getting into a pool with her infant daughter.

Landry's video was met with a warm response from fans who praised her for "prioritizing memories with [her] children over what others may think of" her physical appearance.

"Love. It's so nice to see you prioritizing memories with your children over what others may think of your body. It's a hard thing to do at times! Thank you for sharing this," one Instagram user commented.

"This one hits. have made it a point to not let anything hold me back this summer," another wrote.

"I barely have any pictures with my kids and myself when they were small bc of the whole body image complex and I regret that now," someone else shared, while another added, "Thank you for reminding me of this. Being there making the memories are the most important."

One person commented: "I love this so much!"

Last week the mom of four shared another body-positive video titled "realistic girl summer," giving fans an "honest" peek at her look this season, which includes a grey graphic T-shirt, chalk-covered black bike shorts, leg hair and Crocs.

"Especially the Crocs sandals which I’m so sorry I ever was against because they’re comfy and I’m a new person now," she captioned the post.
