For years, I’ve been purchasing those plastic sticky bras (aka chicken cutlets) from Amazon that claim to be “washable,” but don’t actually hold up once they’ve been put under water.

Even worse, once you’ve worn them a few times, you begin to notice a certain smell that just can’t be ignored (iykyk). The result is tossing these strapless silicone bras into the garbage, where they presumably end up in landfills and add to your cumulative earth-conscious guilt. Unfortunately, these strapless sticky bras are often the only undergarments that’ll work with certain looks—especially backless and strapless dresses and tops.

When I heard about Gatherall’s reusable and washable sticky bras that can be worn up to 30 times, you better believe my ears perked up. I had a wedding coming up (that I was officiating!) and needed something that could withstand a full day of wedding prep, plus a full night of sweating on the dance floor. This premium sticky bra seemed like a *potentially* perfect solution.

But perhaps the best thing about the Gatherall bra is that is has clearly-defined places for your nipples (according to the plastic keeping the sticky part of the bra preserved when you first pull it out of the container), and it comes with two nipple protectors that you place on the bra itself so that removal is painless. As someone who has a nipple ring, I very much appreciate this added protection.

From there, the bra sticks on like basic sticky bras do, but since it doesn’t have a middle hook closure, the brand instructs you to place nipples into the center of the bra itself, versus in the center of the bra’s cups. You should not scoop your entire breast into each cup but rather place it directly onto the bra straight-on. When the bra is on properly, it should not be covering your underboob.

I picked up a size B (my typical size), and found that it was the perfect fit. The bra easily stuck on and didn’t feel heavy at all. It provided the perfect lift for a spaghetti strap dress and stayed put all night long—even when I likely sweat out my body weight on the dance floor.

With a reusable bra that can be used up to 30 times versus the cheaper Amazon brands that can only be used 2-3 times, I have a new sticky bra favorite.
