A searing new political ad has sent #byetiffany viral in a brutal attack on Donald Trump’s younger daughter.

The ad juxtaposes Tiffany Trump’s lavish 11 October birthday celebrations in Miami with news clips about how families are having to cope with the realities of social distancing during the coronavirus pandemic.

Footage of Instagram stories from her celebratory dinner — depicting champagne, cake, sushi, and sparklers — is interspersed with reports of socially-distanced funerals, cancelled weddings, and closed schools and businesses.

The premise of the ad is that “You sacrifice. They celebrate.”

The montage concludes with a clip of Tiffany’s speech at the 2020 Republican National Convention in which she says: “I can relate to so many of you who might be looking for a job. Believe me.”

The video’s description on YouTube states: “Tiffany Trump proudly spewed Trumpism at the RNC and in Trump intonation said ‘believe me’, that she was making the same sacrifices as other Americans. She is not. The Trumps are the gaslighters and their maliciousness kills.”

Tiffany is the daughter of Trump’s second wife, Marla Maples.

Ms Trump attended the White House superspreader event on 26 September and was in close proximity to several people who later tested positive for Covid-19.

The birthday party in Miami’s Brickell neighbourhood was 15 days after the event, outside of the 14-day period in which people should quarantine after exposure.

This is the latest in the “Bye” videos produced by Meidas Touch, a political action committee formed in March 2020 to stop the re-election of Donald Trump.

Earlier editions have targeted Ivanka Trump (twice), Kayleigh McEnany, Eric Trump, Rudy Giuliani, Donald Trump Jr, Lindsey Graham, and Sean Hannity.

Florida governor Ron DeSantis lifted all state-level coronavirus restrictions on businesses including bars and restaurants at the end of September.

The move came in spite of the state reportedly facing an uptick in Covid-19 cases throughout the month of September.
