See the best beauty looks at The Fashion Awards 2023
Last night, fashion's finest returned to the spectacular setting of London's Royal Albert Hall for The Fashion Awards 2023. The event, this year held in partnership with jewellery brand Pandora, celebrated the greatest talents in the creative industry, and those who have made a significant impact through their work over the past 12 months.
Naturally, the outfits gracing the reddest of red carpets were works of art, but the beauty looks were moments to behold, too. Below, see 10 of our favourite, from the festive-feeling (thank you, Jodie Comer), to the perfectly polished (take note from Gwyneth Paltrow) and the effortlessly elegant (Lily James wins).
The 10 best hair and make-up moments from The Fashion Awards 2023
Jodie Comer
Jodie Comer oozed festive feels with silver sparkly eye make-up by artist Naoko Scintu which matched her hair accessories and jewellery by Boucheron.
Sheila Atim
Sheila Atim stole the show with gold hair and matching skinny eyebrows for a '20s-meets-'90s moment. Her black lip liner pivoted the look from feeling too novelty.
Maya Jama
Another nod to the festivities, Maya Jama wore a stunning glossy red lip, paired with delicate feline flicks of eyeliner and a sleek, chic up-do.
Gwyneth Paltrow
Gwyneth Paltrow’s hair was styled straight and impossibly shiny – a texture which translated to her make-up, too, which featured glossy pops of highlight and a shiny lip.
Harris Reed
Harris Reed's 'tinsel tresses' – gold glitter strands placed throughout his long red hair – stunned. His make-up, a graphic take on a cool smoky eye, added extra opulence.
Jourdan Dunn
Jourdan Dunn appeared more statuesque than ever in her Thaihuy ensemble, her fringe laid in a slick wave beneath the towering headwear. Her neutral-toned make-up featured Charlotte Tilbury’s new Rock Lips lipstick in Rocket Girl, a cool nudey-pink.
Kate Moss
Kate Moss’ signature hairstyle – down, styled with effortless-looking volume, by Sam McKnight – was complimented by make-up courtesy of Charlotte Tilbury which centred on sharp cat eye liner, long lashes and dazzling eye shadow shade Virtual Taupe from the brand’s Beautyverse Palette.
Sara Sampaio
Sara Sampaio opted for classical black and grey smoky eye make-up paired with nude lipstick. Her hair nodded to this year's coolest hairstyle: the architectural fanned-out up-do.
Karen Elson
Karen Elson's bob was styled in high-gloss baby waves, while her soft smoky eyes and bitten berry lip stain oozed evening glamour.
Lily James
Lily James opted for an elegant look with her hair by Halley Brisker styled centre-parted and tucked behind the ears in a veil-like shape (a trending silhouette this season). Her make-up by Valeria Ferreira was similarly chic, created using Merit make-up. We loved the mixture of shades Millennial and 1990 on her lips.
