The Cambridge's royal tour of Scotland is the gift that keeps on giving. And now Prince William and Kate Middleton have made their way back to where it all began: St. Andrews, the college where the two met and fell in love.

And they're having some fun along the way. The Duke and Duchess, who started at St. Andrews University nearly 20 years ago, decided to show off their competitive sides with a round of Land Yachting along the seashore. Believe or not, William took home the prize — sorry William, but we weren't the only ones surprised.

"We were surprised as we expected the Duchess to win as she the more experienced sailor," Guy McKenzie, who co-runs Blown Away with his twin Jamie, told People. "He got lucky – there was a gust of wind!" Jamie agreed adding, "He got blown away!"

While the Prince may have won, it wasn't all smooth sailing. At one point, his vehicle got stuck in some wet sand and the Duchess started teasing him. "Come on grandad," Kate called. Kate caught some wind in her sails causing her to veer up onto the side of her car a few times.

The pair met at St. Andrews during their freshman year back in 2001. A former St. Andrews student Laura Warshauer previously told People that the duke and duchess "definitely had chemistry," back in the day.

"Whenever Kate was in the room, Will was obviously paying attention to her," she said. "When we'd be sitting at lunch in the dining hall and the two of them would be talking, it was amazing to see how natural it was, how they had so much to say to each other. Looking back, there were all these small moments—certainly moments where I was like, 'Wow, this could really be something.'"
