Selena Gomez has finally announced the launch date for Rare Beauty — here's when and where you can shop it

It was six months ago when Selena Gomez first dropped the ball on fans about her upcoming makeup line Rare Beauty. Since then, Gomez has shared sneak peeks of what the highly-anticipated collection can do with behind-the-scenes selfies, ultimately leaving her millions of fans and makeup enthusiasts alike asking when and where to get their hands on these must-have products. Well, now, we have the answers.

On Tuesday, the 28-year old took it Instagram to share the announcement that Rare Beauty will be launching on Sept. 3 exclusively to Rarebeauty.com and Sephora stores across North America.

“I’m SO excited to finally share that @RareBeauty will be launching September 3rd only at @Sephora, @SephoraCanada, @SephoraMx and RareBeauty.com. I’ve had so much fun creating everything and can’t wait for y’all to try it all! I hope you love it as much as I do!” she captioned the Instagram photo.

The singer/actress-turned-makeup mogul also appeared on Rare Beauty’s official Instagram to touch more on the brand's mission statement and impact. "I live in a time where it's all about face. It's all about makeup. It's all about how you look in a lot of ways. That could be exciting and fun, but at the same time, it could just be a bit dangerous," she says in the video. "So, I wanted people to feel like makeup is something that you could enjoy. It's not something that you need. I felt like that's kind of who I am. I'm very authentic. I'm very real with my fans, so I'm excited that I got to venture into this."

Last month, Gomez, announced the launch of the Rare Impact Fund, which will raise $100 million over the next 10 years to help address the gaps in mental health services for underserved communities. From the first Rare Beauty product sold onward, one per cent of all sales, as well as funds raised from partners, will be dedicated to the Rare Impact Fund that aims to increase access to mental health resources.

“I’m so grateful to be surrounded by a team that’s helped make the Rare Impact Fund a reality,” reads a Rare Beauty statement from the founder herself.

“Since the brand’s inception, we wanted to find a way to give back to our community and further support people who needed access to mental health services, which have had a profound impact on my life. Rare Beauty is focused on helping people feel more connected to one another and less alone in the world. The Rare Impact Fund will make a direct impact on many lives and, ultimately, make a difference in the world. I’m proud of the work we’ve begun to do with our partners to offer these services to anyone who needs support.”

While we still don’t know what products will be available the day of launch, we expect the collection to consists of a wide range of lippies, eyeliner, blushes, concealer and other complexion must-haves (in 50+ shades, we hope!).
