On Monday, Selena Gomez took to Instagram to celebrate the publishing of her personal letter to her Rare Beauty team in a new no-makeup video. In the video, Selena wears a beige Krost lounge set with hoop earrings as she opens up a copy of The New York Times which featured the open letter in a full-page spread.

Selena captioned her video, "It would be an understatement for me to say I’m proud of my @rarebeauty team and what we have accomplished so far. Love you guys!"

Naturally, her team showed love to Selena in the comments saying, "Beyond grateful for you! Love our Rare Beauty family ❤️." Her fans also jumped in with one user commenting, "SO DAMN PROUD GURL !!! ❤️." "Love you girl, you look amazing," said another.

Aside from all the amazing work she's done with Rare Beauty, Selena also has a few go-to products that she uses behind the scenes to keep her skin at its best.

In an interview with Vogue, she revealed that she loves the Tatcha Dewy Skin line. "...it's so thick and yummy that you actually don't have to use that much of it." She also uses Drunk Elephant's Umbra Sheer Sunscreen SPF 30 as her daily sunscreen: "I like putting sunscreen on because not only is it important to keep your skin looking fresh, but I have lupus, so being in the sun is kind of difficult for me," she said in the video. "So I like to put my sunscreen on."

And during her feature for Vogue's "Beauty Secrets" series, she also mentioned how much she loves Sephora's eye mask collection. "My sister has like, 18 of these. She's probably more of a beauty guru now, and she's eight years old. She's kind of cooler than me," she said.

For Selena, one of the biggest rules for maintaining healthy skin is not sleeping with makeup on. In 2016, she told ELLE, "I just can't understand when—and no offense—people have to wear makeup all the time, and they'll say, 'Oh, you can sleep with a tinted moisturizer or a self-tanner on your face and you can wake up.' For me, I just think that's not my vibe, plus I do breakout. For me, I can't really sleep with things on my body or tinted things just because I get worried. It's not my vibe."

Most importantly, Selena is a firm believer that practicing skincare can set the tone for your whole day. While chatting with Into The Gloss back in 2014, she explained, "It kind of affects your mood when you don’t take enough time to pamper yourself. When I’m home, I like to wake up at least an hour before I need to just to have coffee and not have makeup on."
