Selena Gomez Steps Out In Sheer Dress For Night Out

Selena Gomez hasn’t been afraid to experiment with on-trend — and even risqué — pieces in her personal style as of late. After attending the concert of her boyfriend, the Weeknd, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Tuesday night, the pair headed to the West Village for a late night bite with friends.

For their dinner at Carbone, the pop star and actress wore a sheer, figure-hugging black dress that featured a high slit from French designer Alexandre Vauthier.

Gomez opted to skip the jewelry with her attention-grabbing look — simply pairing the sleek dress with Jimmy Choo sandals and styling her hair in a sleek high ponytail. The Weeknd went more casual with a bomber jacket, black pants, and sneakers.

For his concert earlier that night, Gomez wore a $595 high-shine PVC sleeveless mini dress that featured wide buckle straps and ruffled detailing from Alexa Chung‘s new fashion line.

She uploaded an Instagram photo posing in the chic mini, which she paired with a simple red and white short-sleeved tee and comfortable sneakers.

Her makeup artist, Hung Vanngo, posted a closeup snap of her glamorous makeup for the night — adding that Gomez had a very short time to get ready for the event in the caption.

“When babe gave us only 15 mins to get her ready for @theweeknd‘s concert tonight,” he captioned Gomez’s selfie. He also uploaded videos on his Instagram story during the concert of the star dancing to The Weeknd’s music.

It appears Gomez is really enjoying her time in New York City — and upping her style game as well during the trip.
