It may not seem like much but news that two people from different households can meet outside for “recreation” from 8 March is a step closer to freedom. It means we can grab a takeaway snack or lunch and find the nearest bench or picnic spot for a leisurely catchup instead of the prescribed exercise. So this week we’d like to hear about your favourite places for a takeaway treat – it may be a deli near a park, a countryside tearoom or, if you’re lucky enough to live on the coast, a beach shack doing seafood to eat overlooking the waves.

If you have a relevant photo, do send it in – but it’s your words that will be judged for the competition.

Keep your tip to about 100 words

The best tip of the week, chosen by travel expert Tom Hall, will win a £200 voucher from glamping specialist Canopy & Stars, which has more than 700 places to stay amid nature. The best tips will appear on the Guardian Travel website, and maybe the paper, too.
