Shakira's Viking-Inspired Red Carpet Look Included a Gold-Plated Corset Top and a Low-Rise Velvet Skirt
And showed off her very honest hips in the process.
Nobody does award shows like Shakira. Case in point? After delivering an iconic VMAs performance in September, the global superstar came dressed to impress at the Latin Grammys in not one, not two, but four different jaw-dropping looks — and she brought her adorable sons Milan and Sasha as her plus ones.
She first arrived on the red carpet in a Harris Reed set that included a Viking-inspired gold structured corset top and a low-rise black velvet maxi skirt with a thigh-high slit and a floor-skimming train. She finished off the look with sky-high gold platform heels
Her famous honey blonde beach waves were worn down and styled in a middle part and she kept her glam simple with feathered lashes and a subtle pink lip. Shakira accessorized with gold dangling earrings and a matching gold ring.

During the show, the singer performed in a gold corset gown before slipping into an illusion-creating sequined jumpsuit with matching opera gloves.
She closed out the evening in a striking emerald-colored halter gown with massive leg slits, too many cutouts to count, upside-down cups, and lace-up detailing. At one point, she was joined by her sons, whom she shares with ex Gerard Piqué, in the audience. The two boys wore ivory short suits and white button-up shirts. The three posed in their seats for a sweet photo.
The singer and dancer took home several awards during the event in Seville, Spain (not for her fashion, though she also won that in our eyes). She was awarded Song of the Year and Pop Song of the Year for "Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53," as well as best urban/fusion performance for her song with Karol G "TQG."
