Shenae Grimes-Beech is sharing some of the best mom tips that she has learned so far.

On Sunday, the 32-year-old Canadian actress took to her Instagram story to share three tips for breastfeeding and weaning with her 450,000 followers. The former "90210" star and her husband, Josh Beech, share a daughter, Bowie Scarlett, 3, and a son, 11-month-old Kingsley Taylor.

"Current status: He's doing so much better than I expected," she wrote of her son's weaning progress. "Which brings me so much comfort because it makes me feel like my mama instincts were right and we are ready for this next chapter. He's refused milk from any bottle/cup forever and within 24 hours is taking milk from a sippy cup, no problem."

"Within 48 hours he has totally grasped that he ain't getting the boob during the daytime," she continued. "And he only woke up once last night."

She explained that that was the first time in nearly a year that she's been able to sleep without waking up every one or two hours.

"For the first time in his 11-month-long life!" she penned. I woke up feeling hungover because I've spent nearly a year waking up every 1-2 hours all night. My body had no idea what to do with that much sleep but I'll take it and [pray] that it wasn't a fluke coincidence."

"The second most frequent tip: Put bandaids on your nipples and tell baby they're broken," Grimes-Beech wrote. "No joke. At least 50 people have said they dud that and it worked. Haven't tried it but desperate times call for boo-boo-on-the-nips measures."

"Third popular tip: Drop one nursing session at a time, typically leave before bedtime for last," she went on. "I'm actually dropping a feed a day and so far so good. Started with morning, then afternoon which was tougher, and tonight I'm going to see if I can drop the middle of the night because it's definitely more of a comfort/habit thing than hunger at this point."

In June, the "Degrassi" alum shared an honest motherhood update, admitting that she was "desperate for a full night's sleep."

"Still exhausted beyond belief. Still averaging wake-ups every 1-2 hours (except on vacation — he literally slept 11 hours with 1-2 wake-ups. I thought it was the travel crib so I tried it at home but no luck)," the mother-of-two wrote. "Still opting not to sleep-train this time. For now. Still too tired to even think about weaning. Still feel just about ready for it though — I think we both are."

"Still head over heels in love with literally every inch of my little, smiley bub. Still heartbroken over how fast it's all moving," she continued. "Still wish I could freeze time because right now is the best time of my life. Still desperate for a full night's sleep. Still all over the f—ing place because, well, motherhood."

Just last week, Grimes-Beech shared an additional "life update" explaining that she has recently been feeling "overwhelmed" with her to-do list.

"Overwhelmed with how much I have to be grateful for in this season of life and also just wildly overwhelmed," she continued, adding that she and her husband announced "big plans ahead" on the "personal and professional front."

"I'm snappy, I'm frustrated, I'm just plain un-fun to be around," she shared. "I don't like it but I'm struggling to find the capacity to do the mental processing or physical activities that could get me to a calmer headspace. I keep thinking if I just get ABCDEFGXYZ checked off the list, I'll be able to relax, find time to take care of myself and be more present to enjoy time with my family more."

The actress revealed that on top of her seemingly never-ending to-do list, she hadn't been getting much sleep because she was "avoiding weaning" her son.

"Then I keep taking things on and the list seems to get longer instead of shorter. All of this whilst still avoiding weaning because I have no clue how?!" Grimes-Beech penned. "And waking up every hour through the night because I'm avoiding weaning and my baby seeks me for comfort every time he rolls over. Woo-f—ing-sah, right?!"

"I know it's just a season, I know it's actually everything I asked for, but I also know my eyes have always been bigger than my stomach, so to speak," the Toronto-native wrote. "I'm realizing I've bitten off more than I can chew, and more importantly, more importantly, enjoy."

"This is exactly why I've been sharing these little life updates," she added. "When we share, someone else gets to know they're not alone carrying the weight of the world and the load just may feel lighter."
