The world watched on this past weekend as friends and family gathered to celebrate the christening of Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, newborn son of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
On hand to take part in the festivities, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge appeared smiling in official photos the family shared to mark the special occasion.
While many members of the royal family, including a beaming Duchess of Sussex, chose to coordinate their accessories with their dresses, Kate opted for a more colourful choice and appeared in a custom pink Stella McCartney dress and bold red accessories.
Her $1,005 pointed Gianvitto Rossi pumps matched Kate’s braided hairband, which was a custom-designed modification of a Juliette Borrerill Pleated Pillbox hat.
In a nod to the late Princess Diana, the Duchess of Cambridge also added a personal touch to her outfit with a pair of sparkling diamond and pearl drop earrings. The simple yet sentimental choice was actually the same pair that Princess Di work to Harry’s christening back in 1984 - cue the waterworks!
