As the springtime draws nearer, so does the return of America's Got Talent.
This year will mark the 16th season of the popular talent show airing on NBC. As fans who tuned in last year can remember, season 15 was filled with several changes, many which stemmed from the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Among them was the absence of head judge and executive producer Simon Cowell, 61, who was forced to temporarily leave the show after falling off his electric bike and breaking his back last August.
Following a five-hour surgery and months of recovery, Simon told People recently that he is feeling much better and is ready to get back to judging AGT this spring.
"I've got to be honest with you, it wasn't that bad actually breaking your back," he said to the outlet. "I mean, it wasn't great for three to four weeks but after that you get through it. I have to do so much exercise now. I actually feel better than I did before the accident."
Now that we know Simon is coming back on the show, here's more important info we have about the upcoming season of AGT:
