From Dr. Oz The Good Life

Apple's Siri - aka the queen of misunderstandings and bizarre witticisms - has added another feather to her quirky cap, Buzzfeed reports: When asked questions on how to improve one's diet and be healthier, the iPhone assistant offers up some valid but altogether goofy answers.

We decided to put Siri's nutritional advice to the test for ourselves, because... science? Here are some of her best healthy eating wisecracks:

Did Siri really just make a dad joke?

We did not expect to hear a fart joke when we embarked on this experiment. Then this happened. Sunchokes are also known as Jerusalem artichokes, BTW, and they're a good source of iron.

Siri knows the right way to pronounce tomato.

And it's not to-mah-toe. But any way you say or slice 'em, we're always down for some tomato-ey goodness!

Pretty sure those aren't available at Whole Foods, Siri.

What starts as good advice (because getting enough protein every day really is crucial) takes an odd turn at "Zoltaxian owl eggs." Don't worry, they're not the latest must-have superfood -"Zoltaxian" is part of Siri's off-beat robot humor and appears to be an inside joke connected to Apple releases.

Siri is a robot after our own hearts - and tastebuds.

Turns out Apple's assistant is all about chocolate. We don't blame her - the delicious superfood (yes, superfood!) is our preferred treat-yo-self snack, too.

Marie Antoinette could have used Siri's help.

OK, maybe not. But adding the popular leafy green to your plate can help keep you healthy!

More dad jokes... *rolls eyes*

Are we talking to Siri or Dad? Hard to tell.

Siri loves a good pun.

It turns out she takes puns Siri-ously. #SorryNotSorry

Is that you, Mom?

Good thing there are ways to make veggies more appetizing nowadays!

Siri also loves her tubers.

Yes, like potatoes. No, we don't get it, either.

We'll stick with our fatty acids, thanks.

Just in case you'd forgotten, Siri's happy to remind you that she's not human. But eating more omega-3s is always good advice, regardless!

Siri knows the power of a pretty plate.

Like you learned as a kid, the more colors on your plate, the better off you'll be. The fact that your foodie Instagram pictures will be way prettier is just an added bonus.

MORE PUNS.

She might not be great at landing punchlines, but Siri is surprisingly good at doling out healthy snackspiration.

Just stick to a balanced diet, OK?

Bottom line: While some of her advice may seem silly, even Siri knows eating plenty of fruits and veggies, drinking enough water, and indulging in moderation are keys to developing - and maintaining - healthy eating habits.

And if you don't like what Siri's dishing out? Deal with it. She's just trying to look out for you.

She's basically the robot mom you never knew you needed.
