Six Senses Is Opening a New Luxury Resort in Grenada. Here’s a Look Inside.

Your next summer vacation could be to someplace entirely new.

Six Senses is planning to open a new property on the Caribbean island of Grenada in 2024. Covering 38 acres on a headland in the southern part of the island, Six Senses La Sagesse comprises a luxurious resort and private residences.

The resort includes 56 rooms, seven one-bedroom villas, and five two-bedroom villas that are all influenced by the region’s traditional architecture. In addition, the three- and four-bedroom homes are set into a dramatic hillside and offer 21,500 square feet of landscaped gardens. Each of the green-roofed abodes also features a 56-foot horizon-edge pool, a wrap-around pool deck, a covered bar, and a BBQ terrace. The interiors are nothing to sneeze at, either, with open-plan layouts creating a light and airy feel. Owners will also have access to all of the resort’s facilities, of course.

Speaking of which, the Great House offers a different dining experience each day. Meals could be served in a conservatory, bakery, gallery, or beach dining room. There’s also a private dining room and a Raw Bar with a display kitchen. In addition, the signature restaurant will sling creole-inspired fare that includes plant-based dishes and locally foraged ingredients. The resort can also arrange for in-villa dining or a Chef’s Garden experience

The resort offers a host of other unique experiences, too. Guests will be able to partake in labyrinth walking, sensory foot reflexology, and candlelight yoga, for example. Kids can embark on their own journeys via Grow With Six Senses, a program that allows children to reconnect with nature and gain life skills through play.

Excursions range from shipwreck dives to birdwatching. But should you choose to take it easy, the spa overlooks the lagoon and offers a full menu of specialty treatments, as well as personalized programs for stress relief, weight loss, digestion, and better stamina.

To top it off, Six Senses La Sagesse plans to operate on a self-sufficient and plastic-free basis. Ingredients for the restaurant and spa will come from the kitchen gardens, herb gardens, and native trees, while seafood will be sourced from local fishermen.

Ready to plan your summer vacay? Bookings can be made via SixSenses from May 2024.
