First impressions
First things first, this speaker is large. When I unboxed it and initially started setting it up indoors, it was nearly as tall as my dining table and fairly hefty to move around - despite being considered a portable option. I was able to hook this speaker up to my phone in just seconds thanks to its speedy Bluetooth connection. It also comes with a 3.5mm male-to-male stereo audio cable, which I used to connect the speaker to my record player with mixed results. In my opinion, its size and modern technology make this speaker better suited to the Bluetooth connection, which provides ultra crisp sound — no matter what genre of music you’re listening to.
I can see this speaker being a great addition to cottage trips and backyard barbecues — as long as you plan ahead and make room in the car since it does take up quite a lot of space.
