The Spice Girls Went for a Walk in the Woods Last Week
If you need a little reprieve from everything happening in the world, let me direct your attention to the Spice Girls. Apparently, nothing can keep the group apart, even a global pandemic. According to Emma Bunton, better known as Baby Spice, all five members, including Scary (Mel B.), Sporty (Melanie Chisholm), Ginger (Geri Halliwell), and Posh (Victoria Beckham), took a casual socially distanced stroll through the woods last week.
On her radio show, Bunton opened up about seeing her friends. "As things slowly, slowly start to get back to normal and we’ve all started to meet up with friends again haven’t we?" she said. "Which is strange … I actually started to think I would never see them again … well unless it was on Zoom calls. And this week, yes, I finally got to meet up with Geri, Mel B, Mel C, and Victoria!” She went on to give a little more insight into what exactly this reunion looked like. "Now you may think we propped up a bar somewhere or had drinks in the garden but no! We went on a social distancing walk in the woods, yes!” she admitted.

Now if you're a lifelong Spice Girls fan, you have to be thinking what I'm thinking: "Did they recreate the alien invasion scene from Spice World on this adventure in the woods?"
No, no, they are adults. But also ... who among us hasn't recreated an old memory with friends well into adulthood?

In June, Mel C. spoke about a potential out of the forest and back on stage reunion with the entire group, including Beckham. She told ET she is doing "everything I can within my power to try and get all of us back on stage together."
