Anyone who plans to ride Disney's Splash Mountain knows they're going to get soaked with water—it's implied in the ride's name. But visitors should definitely jump ship if their log starts to sink—which is exactly what happened in this viral video on Twitter showing a log flume sinking under water towards the end of the ride at Walt Disney World.

Twitter user @skyelaringrsoll posted the video on Monday, and it's already racked up more than 425,000 views. The six-second video shows the boat submerged under water. In the caption, @skyelaringrsoll explains that when she and the other people onboard got out of the log, a Disney World Cast Member (employee) told them they should stay in the boat. In the video, you can hear the employee say that it's a safety hazard for them to get out. It's a good thing they got out, though, because the log went under after they evacuated it.

Replying to the post, Twitter user @Kai_cece98 (Karen Ramirez) posted two photos of the submerged log. "Before and after (my boyfriend and I were in the back seats)," the tweet reads. The first photo shows water surrounding their feet, and the second photo shows the back seats completely under water.

Amid the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests, Disney announced in late June that it'll be "reimagining" Splash Mountain, which is based on Song of the South, a problematic Disney movie that's been criticized for its representations of Black characters. The redesign will center on the Princess and the Frog, the first Disney movie with a Black princess as the lead.
