Sterling K. Brown and His Wife Are Playing Ross and Rachel In a 'Friends' Remake Airing Tonight
Although the Friends reunion on HBOMax has been postponed indefinitely, Gabrielle Union has found a way to give fans a modern take on the beloved sitcom. The LA's Finest star is hosting an all-Black cast reading of Friends on National Voter Registration Day to raise awareness for When We All Vote, a non-partisan voter registration organization.
While it's unclear if they'll read through one episode of the show (we vote for "The One Where Ross Finds Out") or a combination of a few, the hour-long broadcast will give fans the same comfort as the original version. The main difference is that it's reimagined with an all-Black cast, featuring actors from popular shows like This Is Us and Orange Is the New Black. Not to mention that Ross and Rachel are played by real-life couple, Sterling K. Brown and Ryan Michelle Bathe!
