Strictly star breaks down live on air as partner reveals one show regret

Strictly Come Dancing professional Nancy Xu broke down in tears as she and celebrity partner Shayne Ward spoke of their show exit.

The couple lost Sunday’s (10 November) dance-off to Wynne Evans and Katya Jones, narrowly missing out on a chance to dance at the prestigious Blackpool ballroom this Saturday.

Appearing on Strictly’s spin-off show It Takes Two on Monday (11 November), Nancy became visibly emotional as she was shown a compilation of her and Shayne’s time together.

The former X Factor winner also spoke of his one regret following his elimination and said: “My regret is I feel my full potential was not reached, I had so much more left in me still to learn.”
