10 fall coats inspired by Max Mara's 'Wrapped in Luxury' exhibit

Max Mara has been the go-to Italian coat maker since the company’s start in 1951. Since then, it has earned a long list of celebrity loyalists, from the Duchess of Cambridge to Oscar winners Reese Witherspoon and Emma Stone. The Max Mara fashion house prides itself on using the finest materials for its coats — including luxurious cashmere angora and camel hair — and if you’ve ever worn or even tried one on, you know it feels absolutely divine. You can usually distinguish a Max Mara coat from others by its signature wide lapel collar, wraparound closure, and optional tie belt.To celebrate these iconic coats as we slide into winter, the fashion house decided to produce a traveling photo exhibition, Wrapped in Luxury, featuring some of its best street-style celeb moments. The exhibit spans more than two decades of photos, from 1991 to present, and will travel throughout the U.S. to a few select cities, from Waikiki and San Francisco to Houston and Miami, in November and December.Check the list below to see if it will come to a Max Mara store near you. But if you can’t make the exhibition, we rounded up the best highlights — plus 10 fall coats you can shop now, inspired by Max Mara but easier on your wallet.Nov. 9: San Francisco Nov. 16:  Beverly Hills Nov. 28: Waikiki Dec. 7: Miami Dec. 14: Palm Beach Dec. 19: HoustonRead more from Yahoo Lifestyle: • Emily Ratajkowski designed the perfect ‘It bag’ for fall  • Nike’s new hijab for Muslim athletes gets high-fashion seal of approval  • These powerful portraits of a black family will leave you speechless Follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter for nonstop inspiration delivered fresh to your feed, every day.
