People have discovered that when you type "brassiere" into iPhone's search tool in the photos app, it gathers some surprising items.
“When asked simple questions about mental health, interpersonal violence, and physical health, Siri, Google Now, Cortana, and S Voice responded inconsistently and incompletely,” stated a March 14th study from JAMA Internal Medicine.

With high profile hires, Apple’s publicly been carrying out a love affair with fashion. Angela Ahrendts came to the company from Burberry to head up retail, Paul Deneve, the former CEO of Yves Saint Laurent, made the move to Silicon Valley, and Patrick Pruniaux was the vice president of global sales and retail at Tag Heuer before he left tickers for tech. The announcement of the Apple Watch in September 2014 even drew front row regulars away from their seats at New York Fashion Week; they chose the press conference in California instead. And on Monday, the love affair was officially solidified when Apple’s collaboration with Hermès hit stores.
On Wednesday, two iconic French houses, Chanel and Hermès, launched new watches and then today, designer Nicholas K announced a partnership with the sporty Casio G-Shock (remember that chunky number?). While the Chanel Boy.Friend option promised to be the only paramour a gal needs, the Apple Watch Hermès blew me away with it’s sexiness— and just about every other fashion editor and style savvy tech head.
Photo: Apple made some pretty big announcements on Monday — iOS 9 is coming, Siri’s getting smarter, Passbook’s getting a name change, and more — but the most important thing (to us) to come out of WWDC 2015 was the vintage varsity jacket Drake wore to present Apple Music. Because before Drake was a rapper, he starred on Degrassi as Jimmy (#RIPDegrassi), he knows how to command an audience and make jokes. According to Business Insider, a listing for the same jacket, which was made for just for Apple employees years decades ago, recently sold for $825. “This rare Apple Computers jacket varsity/baseball style jacket was given to Apple employees, at the time of the ‘rainbow’ logo [used from 1977-1998].
First Style.com becomes an e-commerce site, and now Donna Karan is stepping aside and her iconic DKNY label will be designed by Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow. As we reported earlier this month, DKNY’s parent company, LVMH, had been shopping for a new creative director in an effort to re-energize the 26-year-old brand. Osborne and Chow—who were rumored to be in the running along with Prabal Gurung and A.L.C.’s Andrea Lieberman—secured the top spot. Having already won the Swarovski Award for Menswear in 2013, as well as the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund in November of that same year, they are now nominated for Menswear Designers of the Year at the CFDA Awards taking place in June. The creative directors are not the only ones getting aboard the new DKNY train (subway?).
Fashion’s main concern with the Apple Watch is how it looks—and the industry bestowed its aesthetic blessing months ago. Fashion photographer David Sims lensed the campaign, which debuted in Vogue, and now we can turn to less important things prettiness. They’re generally positive: Style.com’s Nicole Phelps writes, “Its real potential probably lies in the way it can simplify things.” She used the GPS technology, which would tap her on the wrist one way for right, another for left, to get around Tulum on a family vacation last week in Mexico. Our own David Pogue writes on Yahoo Tech, “The Apple Watch answers the question, “Why would anyone want a smartwatch?” Citing that most people pull out their phone nearly 100 times per day, he says the watch acts like “a filter.” Instead of keeping your phone in front of your face, you can glance at the watch and see if whatever it’s alerting you to is actually worth your time in that moment.
Apple’s latest technological marvel, the Apple Watch, will be released next month, but if you thought you could just swing by the store on your lunch break to pick up this very necessary gadget, we’ve got news for you: the watch will only be available by “reservation.” According to leaked Apple store employee training documents, you have to reserve a specific model to go try on in-store between April 10 and April 24, after which you can come back and purchase said watch.
The time has come—pun intended—and the much-anticipated Apple Watch is here! According to Apple CEO Tim Cook, it’s “the most advanced timepiece ever created.” And it should be with a price tagreaching five figures! It might be amazing in person, but for anyone who has yet to see, feel, or experience the watch first-hand, it seems likean overstated doodad .
You know you’re supposed to eat more fruits and veggies than packaged foods, and that it’s better to enjoy many smaller meals than gorge once or twice a day, but the most important part of any healthy diet is listening to your body.
