Christian Louboutin did not in fact hire a plus-sized model for its new beauty campaign

A video posted by Clémentine Desseaux (@bonjourclem) on Nov 4, 2015 at 12:31pm PST In an interview with The Cut, Desseaux explained that the entire thing was a complete misunderstanding.  “The Christian Louboutin thing is so insane. I was in Paris just after they gave it to me, and me and my friend were like, 'Maybe let’s do a cool video or something, because everybody does pictures.’ So we just walked around in Paris, wearing the lipstick, putting it on and off and just playing around with it,” she explains.  Desseaux’s boyfriend later edited the video and added some music and the final cut was sent to the pr team at Louboutin.  “They loved it and decided to repost it on their social and everywhere.” While Desseaux was flattered by the reaction, the misunderstanding made her very anxious.  ALSO SEE: Ashley Graham is the face of Forever 21′s plus-size activewear line “The whole weekend that happened, I was so scared and anxious.
