Sophie Grégoire Trudeau opens up about battle with bulimia

Recounting her own personal battle with bulimia, the Prime Minister’s 41-year-old wife discussed how the same pressures that encouraged her illness in her teens are still present for girls today. “We tell girls to be themselves, but then they have role models — sometimes too many role models — in popular culture who incarnate that kind of disconnectedness from oneself,” explains Grégoire Trudeau.
