Duff and Comrie have had a friendly relationship since they separated in 2014 – last month on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Duff gushed about how great her ex is. “We are good friends and we laugh a lot and we have a great communication.” Duff and Comrie aren’t the only celebrity couples jetting off post-divorce – everyone’s favourite “consciously uncoupled” pair Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin continue to frequently vacation with their two children. “We actually have a really strong friendship and we laugh and have fun,” Paltrow said last year. “And we’re lucky in that our parenting styles overlap a lot.” Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora, and even Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen have also vacationed together after divorce – all with their kids in tow. While it’s may not be a surprise that some couples continue to head to the family cottage after separating, for many, it’s easier said than done.
