After a four-day whirlwind of fashion shows, Paris Haute Couture fashion week has come to a close. Although the time frame is much shorter than NYFW‘s upcoming 10-day marathon, the stunning gowns just wouldn’t stop. One Elie Saab couture dress, for example, was hand-embroidered with 9,000 sequins and crystals.
During Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, luxury fashion houses from Dior to Chanel debuted new, one-of-a-kind collections comprised of exquisite, custom-made looks. At Maison Margiela, Bella Hadid walked down the runway in a gold, jewel encrusted bodysuit. For Azzedine Alaia‘s couture comeback after a six-year hiatus, Naomi Campbell opened the show in stunning white and black textured coat. However, the street style scene outside of the Couture Fashion Week shows was equally eye-popping and enviable.
To be fair, we would rather cuddle this bundle of fluff on the FROW than walk in the show itself. [Photo: Rex]
