If you're one of the many office-workers who tend to experience a slump in the afternoon, you might be tempted to grab yourself a coffee or a can of Coke to get a much-needed boost. Scientists found that 10 minutes of walking up and down stairs at a regular pace is more likely to make you feel energized than ingesting 50 milligrams of caffeine. For the study researchers looked at 18 female college students, all of whom reported being chronically sleep deprived.

The contraceptive pill has 'prevented 200,000 cases of cancer'
