Blood Test Shows How Likely You Are To Have Heart Attack In Next Five Years
A basic blood test could predict how likely people are to have a heart attack within the next fives years, scientists claim. Researchers have discovered that people with high levels of Immunoglobin G antibodies in their blood stream were less likely to suffer from heart attack and stoke compared to those with lower levels. The research monitored 1,753 people over fives years and found that those with a higher level of the antibodies had a 58 per cent lower chance of cardiovascular disease or heart attack and a 38 lower per cent chance of stoke.
