The mum took to a forum on the parenting site Mumsnet to ask whether they thought it was acceptable for her friend to leave her daughter, five, alone in the house while her mother runs an errand. The user went on to explain that though she hadn’t witnessed it directly she’d discovered her friend does this because she’d said her little one was upset with her when she woke up from a nap to find her mum was out running an errand.
You could have a cuppa, tidy the house, but you know you’ve got to nip to the shops and it would be way, way easier to do so without a fussy baby attached to your hip. Would you leave your baby in the house alone?
