Just days after welcoming a more diverse era for British Vogue with his debut cover, editor-in-chief Edward Enninful unveils this year’s Pirelli calendar. Shot by legendary fashion photographer Tim Walker and directed by Enninful, the all-black cast tells the story of Lewis Carroll’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’. The likes of Whoopi Goldberg, Naomi Campbell , upcoming British model Adwoa Aboah and RuPaul play the novel’s most cherished characters and the 2018 edition signifies a long-awaited shift in the fashion industry. “The message is so big, and the timing could not be more perfect,” Naomi Campbell told The Guardian . “It’s great to see these beautiful girls get this opportunity. I just don’t want it to be a trend, and I think we all feel that way.” In recent years, the Pirelli calendar has strived to celebrate diversity with last year’s issue seeing photographer Annie Leibovitz emphasise women’s accomplishments, not their looks. Tim Walker told British Vogue : “I think it’s exciting, it’s a celebration of black beauty but it could be any skin colour to me. It’s in tune with what feels right for now.” Follow us on Instagram and Facebook for non-stop inspiration delivered fresh to your feed, every day. For Twitter updates, follow @YahooStyleUK . Every fashion city has a few designers that make up the essence of that city and embodies what their fashion week stands for. New York has Calvin Klein and Marc Jacobs; Milan has Prada, Dolce & Gabbana and Giorgio Armani; Paris has Chanel, Givenchy and Saint Laurent. But in London, there is only one name: Burberry. Burberry is the quintessential British heritage brand that has outlasted every cool Britannia label that has tried to take over the mantle.
Unfortunately, in recent years, the Gap has lost its luster, and many people were wondering why it didn’t revert to its ’90s heyday. Surely there is a plain white pocket T-shirt in the 2017 version of Gap?! Apparently, unless you are a boy and under the age of 14, you’re out of luck! Gap seems to think that we ladies prefer our T-shirts to either have a floral print plastered all over, or a logo on the front that tells the world we need a nap, coffee, love, to surf, victory or love again (but in French).

She’s a supermodel twice over, having maintained a powerful presence in the industry walking runway shows and bagging major magazine covers well beyond the career spans of her contemporaries. She expands outside of fashion, getting lyrical name-checks from the likes of Beyoncé, DNCE, and Joe Jonas of late. She even has quite the growing acting career, most recently appearing on Empire. And yet here she is, still working. ...
Campbell's dazzling lipstick popped against her cocoa complexion and jet-black pin straight strands, making them the ultimate accessory.
