Watch out Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton tells 'Voice' contestant: 'You made me feel something'
During The Voice's live semi finals Monday night, the top eight artists each took the stage. However, it was the penultimate performance of the night, Team Blake's Jacksonville soul singer Paris Winningham, who sang "Close the Door" by Teddy Pendergrass, which had Blake Shelton feeling things. "You did exactly what you needed to do, man," Blake told Paris. "That fun side of your personality. You're so laid back and then so aggressive out of nowhere. Literally, I mean, I don't know about y'all but, I mean, I'm married to Gwen Stefani, but you made me feel something." "My heart was pounding, okay Paris? I said it. My heart was pounding for Paris. I just said it," added Blake, as Ariana Grande exclaimed, "What is going on?" Kelly Clarkson also enjoyed Paris's performance as she shared, "That was so good. He said close the door. Oh my gosh, I love that song. I didn't know that song. I've never heard that song before. What a way to stick in your wheelhouse to get to the finale, man. Your voice is so beautiful and raw and just perfect. That was such a perfect performance, man. I loved it." However, viewers were just enjoying Blake "feeling something" for him, as they took to Twitter sharing that they ship Blake and Paris. One fan even called it their "favorite moment in Voice history now." No word on what Blake's wife Gwen Stefani has to say on the matter, but the couple have only been married since July, so something tells us they're just fine.

Kelly Clarkson's incredibly tough 'Voice' decision has Blake Shelton telling her to 'quit'
During the last day of the battle rounds on The Voice Tuesday, Kelly Clarkson was faced with a very tough decision – keep her pop-gospel teen duo, the Cunningham sisters, or 30-year-old Parker McKay, the contestant with a heartbreaking backstory. While both the Cunningham sisters and Parker slayed their haunting rendition of Lesley Gore's "It's My Party," Blake Shelton knew exactly what Kelly should do. "I thought you sounded incredible," Blake told Parker. "But you were up against The Cunningham Sisters." Blake then turned to Kelly and said, "Do you want my advice? Quit." Blake telling Kelly to quit was obviously a joke. In fact, earlier in the show, Ariana Grande also joked about quitting when she herself had a hard decision. Fortunately, neither coach quit and, in the end, Kelly shared, "Man. I'm so bummed right now," said Kelly. "I just can't fight the, like, what is gonna happen, in my heart, so I have to pick," before declaring the teenage Cunningham sisters as the winners to move on to the Knockout rounds. " I think the thing that really steals me about The Cunningham Sisters is just to have that kind of confidence and precision at such a young age. Like, imagine this whole journey. I think anything I kind of throw at them, like, a challenge, they like it and they kind of grow in that arena, so I'm very excited about it," said Kelly.

Blake Shelton's bold statement calling 'Voice' contestant 'the first superstar that we launch off this show'
The Voice's Season 20 live playoffs ended with an incredible performance by Team Blake Shelton's R&B singer Cam Anthony, who took everyone to church Monday night with his performance of Hozier's "Take Me to Church." Cam's performance had all four coaches on their feet, and viewers at home singing his praises. The singer, who was blocked from working with John Legend by Nick Jonas during the blind auditions, surprisingly chose to join Team Blake. On Monday, Blake referred to that day, when he told Cam, "I know there was some blocking and things that went on, but I promised you, when you joined my team, that I would keep the lane open for you and I would do everything I could to get you to this point, but the rest has to be up to you, man. And you have delivered every time you stand on this stage." Blake then made a bold statement, when he shared, "I've never had more people asking me about an artist on my team in 20 seasons of doing this show, man. You could be the first superstar that we launch off this show." It's no secret that in the last 19 seasons, almost all of the winners have not gone on to have huge fame like winners from rival show American Idol, which has launched the careers of Kelly Clarkson, Jordin Sparks and Carrie Underwood, but Blake has been around all 20 seasons of The Voice, and he's even won seven of those seasons. So it may have been viewed as some subtle shade toward the show and its past contestants. Nevertheless, Cam slayed his performance, and Blake might be right – Cam really does have the talent and star power to become the first superstar to come from The Voice.
