The ’90s were all about big logo tees and distressed apparel, like hole-filled jeans and T-shirts with loose, hanging threads. Now, more than 20 years later, the ’90s pre-destroyed trend is back, thanks in part to celebrities like Ashley Graham, Gisele Bündchen, Zoe Saldana, and others stepping out in the Harlow Destroyed BFF Tee.It comes from fashion brand n:Philanthrophy, which specializes in providing on-trend basics that are a bit atypical — such as tees featuring hand-distressed elements like a cutout around the collar (as with the Harlow) or fleece trousers and dresses with lace-up detailing along the side seams and chest area. The Harlow comes in four colors — black, white, heather gray, and dark brown — and retails for $72.Of course, if you want an authentic “distressed” T-shirt, you could easily opt for the budget-friendly version, which involves your taking a pair of scissors to a pack of Hanes from Walmart. (But just FYI — n:Philanthropy donates 10 percent of its net proceeds to pediatric cancer research and animal welfare causes through its partnerships with the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and ASPCA.)Click ahead to see celebs rock this $72 tee. Celebrities often opt for neutral colors for red carpet appearances and formal affairs. However, members of the Hollywood set have been testing out a different, more offbeat color recently: burnt orange. Shades of orange have been spotted everywhere, from glamorous movie premieres to casual street style looks. Zoe Saldana wore a shimmering orange gown this week to the Hollywood premiere of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Aging is tough on most women – but particularly so on women in Hollywood. From having ever pore and fine line analyzed on social media to being told they’re too old to play a role, it’s no wonder Tina Fey aptly described aging in Hollywood as “a glorious act of bravery.”
The first poster for ‘Nina’, the long-awaited Nina Simone biopic starring Zoe Saldana in the title role, has been revealed by Entertainment Weekly and it’s stirred up the controversy surrounding the film once again.
There are two particular obsessions when it comes to motherhood in Hollywood. The first is “bump watch.” If you’ve never heard this term, it is our compulsive need to evaluate photos and figures of famous women, to deduce whether or not they are pregnant. Generally speaking, this is a terribly inaccurate system and the phantom bumps are usually due to an awkward fitting dress, bad lighting or a big lunch. I’m sure we can all agree that we’ve been there…I tend to look a few months along after a delicious steak meal. This is why I can never wear a crop top to dinner.
