Taylor Swift Wins Best Song, Is Honored as Innovator at the iHeartRadio Music Awards
Dressed like midnight rain, Taylor Swift took home two big awards at last night's 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
The singer arrived at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California, in a blueish gray hooded top and matching pantaboots completely covered in clear crystals from Alexandre Vauthier's spring-summer 2023 couture collection. She added even more shimmer with KatKim jewelry, a silver manicure, and matching eyeshadow.
On stage, Swift proudly accepted the Song of the Year prize for her Midnights hit "Anti-Hero," beating out Harry Styles, Lizzo, Doja Cat, Jack Harlow, and Justin Bieber, whose songs were also nominated.
She was also honored with the Innovator Award for her ongoing contributions to the music industry. Swift thanked her fans and iHeart for the recognition, calling it "a really wonderful surprise."
The "Lover" singer's big win comes as she reached yet another milestone and broke a major record by becoming the first living recording artist to have seven albums charting in the top 40 of the Billboard 200 at the same time.
Seven of Swift's albums are currently at the top of the charts for the week of April 1, Billboard reported Monday. Midnights, her latest, is ranked third on the chart.
Whitney Houston was technically the first artist to reach the chart goal with her music in 2012, though the achievement came after her death that February.
Swift is currently on her much-awaited Eras Tour, which kicked off on March 17 and ends of August 9.
