As the new “Bachelorette,” Tayshia Adams is serving serious girl boss energy and major fashion moments.
The 30-year-old may have been brought on by producers as a ringer to replace Clare Crawley as the lead of the reality TV dating series, but it didn’t take long for Adams to command the spotlight.
Adams, a California-based host of Bachelor Nation’s latest podcast, Click Bait, is no stranger to creating influential fashion looks. With more than 1.1 million followers on Instagram, Adams has cemented herself as one of the most-followed women of the Bachelor world - and fans are loving her accessible, affordable style.
On Tuesdays episode of “The Bachelorette” Adams wore a look that includes not one, but two of our favourite athleisure brands, Lululemon and Alo Yoga as watched contestants vie for her heart in a no-holds-barred wrestling showdown.
Since we don’t do spoilers, we’ll skip the sweaty men and go straight to the fashion - and those pink All The Right Places Crop II leggings.
SHOP IT: Lululemon, $128
The high-rise cropped leggings are designed with runners and cross-trainers in mind and made from Lululemon’s Luxtreme fabric. This slick, low-friction fabric contains added lycra for shape retention, sweat-wicking capabilities that allows your leggings to remain cool to the touch no matter how intense your workout.
“The Bachelorette” stylist Cary Fetman paired Adams’s Lulus with Alo Yoga’s wrap-detailed Cover Tank ($70) and a pair of Hoka One One x Outdoor Voices Clifton Sneakers.
The All The Right Places leggings don’t have a front seam, but do have reflective details under the cuff each leg - helping you stay visible and safe on your night runs. They also have subtle colour changes contour your shape and yes, a pocket to put any cards.
While Adams’s bright pink colour are no longer available, however they’re are six winter-friendly colours that would look great year-round.
“If we are being honest, these are the only tights in the world that won't give you a camel toe. And I feel like that is more important than we'd like to admit,” one Lululemon shopper wrote. “I wish more colours or patterns would be made in this style because they are great quality material for intense workouts, but also have the right lines in the right places to wear anywhere, anytime.”
Although the All The Right Places leggings have a side pocket instead of a hidden pocket at the back of the waistband, reviewers have noted that the change in design has some functional benefits.
“This is my third pair of Lulu capris and by far the best yet! The waist is higher, the fabric soft, yet super supportive. I thought I would miss the small back waist zipper pocket like my last two pair, but I actually like the small slit pocket better because I can't feel it when on my back. These have a light compression, which I love as it slims and is great for workouts, yoga, or just daily wear,” wrote another shopper.
