'Teen Mom' fans urge Jenelle Evans to leave David Eason after he reportedly shoots and kills her dog

Jenelle Evans’s fans fear for her safety following a report that her husband, David Eason, shot and killed their dog Nugget.

The Teen Mom 2 star paid tribute to her sidekick on Wednesday, writing that she’s “speechless” and “crying every day” over his death. She added that she is “heartbroken” and “distraught” over it.

What she didn’t say is whether her husband, whose gun-crazed videos caught the attention of the Secret Service and homophobic tweets got him fired from his wife’s long-running MTV show, killed the French bulldog after it bit their 2-year-old daughter Ensley. However, in a post from what is said to be Eason’s new Instagram account seemed to suggest he did it.

“You can hate me all you want but this isnt the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge weather or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME,” he wrote, along with a video of the dog purportedly nipping the child as well as am image of her swollen face.

And an Us Weekly report claims he did. An insider told the magazine that “David shot the dog” Tuesday at their North Carolina home after “the dog snapped at Ensley,” a source told the magazine.

The report stated that Evans’s 4-year-old son with ex Nathan Griffith, Kaiser, was also there at the time of the incident, but her eldest son, Jace, 9, was on vacation with Evans’s mom Barbara.

The magazine went on to report that Evans, 27, left the house she shares with her 30-year-old husband. She allegedly “doesn’t feel safe” and “is scared and terrified” of him following the incident.

The Columbus County Sheriff’s Department issued a statement obtained by Yahoo stating that on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to Evan’s home for a welfare check on an unidentified occupant of the residence. They were unable to make contact with anyone. They returned Wednesday and spoke to Eason, who said the occupants of the residence were okay. “There was no evidence to substantiate further investigation,” it stated.

However, “We have received complaints concerning an incident involving an animal at this location,” the statement noted. So Columbus County Animal Control is currently investigating these complaints. “No additional details are available.”

In a series of tweets on Wednesday, Evans clarified some of the speculation — and asked to be left alone because she doesn’t need “anymore f***ing drama.” She didn’t deny that Eason killed the dog.

Some of the tweets have coarse language:

Evans’s fans haven’t been big supporters of Eason due to several incidents, including police being called to their home in October after a fight. The couple also had a huge blowout the night before they were married in 2017. Eason recently was behind the production of Teen Mom 2 being shut down because he threatened to show up any time they were filming her scenes despite being banned from the show. Fans are now fearful for the safety of Evans and her sons — with more than one worrying that the next gun incident could involve her.

“You really should run far and fast with your children,” one person commented today on one of Eason’s last social media posts. “It won’t be a family pet next time.”

Other commenters wrote, “Jenelle needs to get rid of you” and told her that this should “be your wake up call.”

Of course, Evans had her own much-publicized gun incident last year, when she pulled out her own handgun during a road rage incident with one of her kids in the car.
