Teen's sister edits Patrick Dempsey and Ryan Reynolds into her homecoming pics after she's ditched by date

One teen in Kingwood, Texas, saved her homecoming pictures, thanks to her computer and some celebrity photos.

“My sister’s homecoming date ditched her so we upgraded her pictures a little bit,” Lauren Mavrinac shared on Twitter. The photos show the sister standing arm in arm with her date. Except now her date’s head (and in some cases entire body) has been replaced by Ryan Reynolds and Patrick Dempsey.

Mavrinac even chose a photo where Reynolds is staring lovingly at her sister (though, originally, it was presumably at his wife, Blake Lively). With the edits, it looks as though Reynolds is exceedingly happy to be headed to a high school homecoming.

This isn’t the first time that Reynolds’s likeness has been used by brokenhearted dates. When Gabi Dunn and her boyfriend broke up just after prom, Dunn didn’t want her photos to go to waste. She decided to salvage them by editing in Reynolds’s face.

“My boyfriend and I broke up a few days after prom, so I decided to ‘edit’ the photos a little,” she wrote on Twitter.

“I kind of have a huge love for Ryan Reynolds, and I wasn’t totally feeling myself on prom day, so I wanted to post my look,” she says. “Who could be a better prom date than him?”

Reynolds even saw the new photos.
