The holiday season is here, and the timing couldn't be messier with the recent outcome of one of the most controversial elections ever. We're asking people in the BuzzFeed Community to share how different their family dynamic has been since the election.

Maybe a heated family debate ensued after your brother showed up to Thanksgiving wearing a MAGA hat.

The Liberals' GST holiday legislation is expected to pass in the House of Commons, even as Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre said his party will vote against the tax break. The two-month measure applies to dozens of items commonly purchased over the holidays, including children's clothes and toys, video games and consoles, Christmas trees, restaurant and catered meals, wine, beer, candy and snacks.
