Whether it was a beach break, a family get together, an adventure or a holiday when the kids (or you) had the time of their lives, please share details of your favourite family holiday in the UK or Europe.

It could be a trip you planned yourself or one offered by a travel specialist. Cycling, swimming, lounging about, cultural attractions … whatever you and your family enjoyed, we’d like to hear about it.

Please ensure your tip stays within around 100 words, and provide websites(and prices if helpful) and exact locations.

Send tips by filling in the form below, with as much detail as you can in around 100 words. We’re sorry, but for legal reasons you must be a UK resident to enter this competition.

Photographs are welcome if they are high-quality and you are happy to share but it is the text that our judges will consider. If you do send photographs please ensure you are the copyright holder.

From this week, readers’ tips has a new prize sponsor: £200 towards a stay at a Sawday’s property (the company has 3,000-plus) in the UK or Europe. The winner, as usual, will be chosen by Tom Hall of Lonely Planet.

The best tips will appear on the Guardian Travel website and may also appear in print in Guardian Travel.
