Tess Holiday Slams App That Slimmed Down Her Body

From Cosmopolitan

Model Tess Holiday is speaking out after a photoshop app called PIP CAM used her image without permission. And if that's not bad enough, the purpose of using said image was to show how the app can slim down people's bodies. Please join us in a chorus of ugggggghhhhhhhh.

Holliday discovered her image was used after the app came up as a sponsored post on Instagram, and wasted no time calling out the company. "An app that has nearly 50k downloads was dumb enough to steal photos of myself and two other plus size women and use them for this nonsense," she wrote. "The fact that anyone thinks it’s ok to market this to ANYONE is appalling, but like, come on y’all."

After taking Instagram to task for not regulating sponsored content, she said, "Lastly never let anyone make you feel like you need to alter your appearance or who you are. You are enough. You are worthy of love in your current body, whatever that body looks like."
