The Biggest Trends of London Fashion Week Fall ‘16

And that’s a wrap! The final look of London fashion week has vanished from the catwalk — but thankfully for us, the fun has only just begun. It’s time to take a look back at the past five days of shows, presentations, and one offs from the best collections London had to offer.

But where to begin? How about… God save McQueen! Or perhaps it’s more apt to say that McQueen saved London? After a decade of showing in Paris, Alexander McQueen went back to London to show its Fall 2016 collection — and it did not disappoint.

Then there’s Johnny Coca, who showed his debut collection for Mulberry — ushering the sometimes faltering brand into an exciting new era. And editors and buyers rejoiced over designer newcomer A.V. Robertson, who debuted her collection under the Fashion East tent with the help of mega-models Edie Campbell, Georgia May Jagger, and Anna Cleveland. No doubt about it: Her clothes were are fabulous as the women wearing them.
