Kendall Jenner is known for her dramatic fashion choices, and her appearance at the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards was no exception.

The 23-year-old model appeared on the Primetime Emmys’ purple carpet for the first time alongside older sister Kim Kardashian, and the duo later stepped on stage to present the award for best reality show.

Dressed in a floral Richard Quinn gown, Jenner’s sartorial choice had many fans scratching their heads as her latex turtleneck seemed slightly out of place alongside the feminine ball gown.

“What in God’s name is Kendall Jenner wearing?” asked one puzzled viewer.

Another compared her bold look to “an alien in men in black trying to pass as human.”

Fans of the Kardashian-Jenner clan were quick to jump in with words of encouragement for Kendall’s risk-taking look.

Regardless of whether you loved it or hated it, there’s no denying that Kendall’s head-turning look got audiences talking, generating plenty of buzz for designer Richard Quinn’s straight-off the runway look.
