The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have begun their royal tour of South Africa, and to mark their first official appearances, the duo stepped out in two stylish looks.

According to the Telegraph, Meghan Markle spoke to an audience of South African women and girls, encouraging them to continue their work pushing for "respect, dignity, and equality."

In her two-minute address, Meghan said, “On one personal note, may I just say that while I am here with my husband as a member of the royal family I want you to know that I am here as a mother, as a wife, as a woman, as a woman of colour, and as your sister."

Following her speech, the 38-year-old new mother met with local children and danced with residents of the Nyanga township they were visiting.

Meghan looked stunning in a black and white printed wrap dress from the ethical fashion label Mayamiko, which according to the brand’s website is “sourced and made in Malawi by the talented artisans at the Mayamiko workshop.”

Later in the day she made her second appearance in a blue Veronica Beard shirt dress that she’s worn on a previous royal visit to Tonga.

Meghan finished both looks with a pair of black Castañer wedges, a style that both she and sister-in-law Kate Middleton have been known to wear on several previous occasions.

Kate and Meghan’s recent outings showcase just how versatile these stylish wedges are, proving that they look equally chic at an outdoor garden party or a more formal event.

If you’re looking for a pair of the royals’ favourite footwear, you can still shop Meghan’s wedges - just don’t expect them to stay in stock much longer. Her Mayamiko wrap dress has already sold out (though there is the option to sign up for a back in stock notification), so it’s likely that her chic wedges are soon to follow.
