These dads are pirouetting their way into our hearts!
The Philadelphia Dance Center invited parents to join their kids during classes. Moms were asked to participate in student’s hip hop classes the day before or after Valentine’s Day, and dads were invited to try ballet with their daughters on the day of love.
And the results are too cute!
The dance center posted the adorable video of the dads lumbering along to Tchaikovsky’s “Waltz of the Flowers” from “The Nutcracker” on Facebook on Tuesday evening, and woke up to it going viral! It’s already racked up over 11 million views and more than 65,000 likes.
But wait, there’s more!
Here’s another video of dads leaping in tutus.
And one of them trying their best to gracefully pirouette across the floor.
The videos received an overwhelming number of comments applauding the dads for their efforts.
“Way to go dads! The second made me laugh, but it’s beautiful to see dads involved in their children’s lives,” wrote one commenter.
“I wish we had this when I was younger. It seems like such a great bonding experience for the little ones and their dads. Something that neither of them would forget!” wrote another.
The dance centre was so “overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from around the world” that they posted this thank you note:
Major props to the dads for taking the time to make memories with their little girls and even enduring a little embarrassment along the way.
Especially this dad.
