A third Marshalls department store planned for new Bradenton-area shopping center

A third Marshalls department store may be coming to Manatee County.

Benderson Development recently filed paperwork with Manatee County Building Services for interior completion of space for a future Marshalls in Creekside Commons shopping center, 8830 U.S. 301 N., Parrish.

No information was immediately available for when the store might open.

Marshalls sells clothing for men, women and children as well as beauty aids and gift items.

Marshalls is part of TJX Companies, an off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions in the U.S. Other stores under the TJX umbrella include T.J. Maxx and HomeGoods.

As of Jan. 28, the company operated 4,835 stores in nine countries, including 1,183 Marshalls, the company said in a March 28 news release.

In Manatee County, Marshalls has stores at 7250 Cortez Road W., Bradenton, and at 8467 Cooper Creek Blvd., University Park.

The Creekside Commons shopping center has stirred a lot of consumer interest in the fast-growing but retail-starved Parrish.

The 300,000-square-foot shopping center is planned for about 30 stores and restaurants.

Anchors which have opened include Lowe’s and HomeGoods. Also open are Pet Supplies Plus and Five Below.

Announced but not yet open are an Aldi supermarket, Good Liquid Brewing Company, Crunch Fitness, Ulta Beauty, Blossom Nail Spa and Cutting Loose Salon.

Parrish is one of the fastest-growing and developing parts of Manatee County.
