What people are saying

With 4.2 stars and more than 2,000 customer reviews, this arts and crafts project is approved by shoppers.

“The possibilities are endless. I got to make jar labels, kitchen calendar and a reminder board. It was easy to apply on surfaces and writing on it worked great as well,” said one shopper. “Erasing was not a problem as well, so I can write on it again and again. On top of that, I used all of what's left as a wall sticker in my son's room for his art and drawing.”

“I was surprised how much of the product you get in the roll. Its good quality, sticks well to the surface and if you get creases you can easily pull off and reapply. I got creative and drew out shapes. My girls love it, and I've bought it again because now my son wants it in his room,” added another.

While this item is loved as a creative outlet, some customers do warn it’s difficult to clean.

“I deducted one star as some other users noticed, the chalkboard markers do leave stains behind. To troubleshoot this particular issue, I only used the markers for static messages (i.e. menu, days of the week, shopping list etc.) and then used regular chalk for the parts that needed constant editing,” suggested one customer. “The regular chalk doesn't appear to leave as many (if any) permanent marks. The best part of all, it keeps my two-year-old entertained while mommy is making dinner.”

“I use water to go over it the first time round and it removes most of the ink, but if you use the magic eraser, it rubs everything right off and it will look good as new,” added another.

The verdict

While it can be tricky to clean, most customers recommend using a damp towel or magic eraser to get rid of marker remnants. A fun way to boost creativity or keep track of lists and important dates, it’s a great way to keep busy or organized when you’re at home.
