To troubleshoot this particular issue, I only used the markers for static messages (i.e. menu, days of the week, shopping list etc.) and then used regular chalk for the parts that needed constant editing,” suggested one customer. “The regular chalk doesn't appear to leave as many (if any) permanent marks. The best part of all, it keeps my two-year-old entertained while mommy is making dinner.”

“I use water to go over it the first time round and it removes most of the ink, but if you use the magic eraser, it rubs everything right off and it will look good as new,” added another.

The verdict
