Yoga instructor Hilaria Baldwin is keeping it real just 24 hours after giving birth to her third child, a son named Leonardo, by husband Alec Baldwin. The 32-year-old health guru posted an unfiltered photo of her postbaby body — in just a bra and panties — to Instagram as a means of promoting body confidence.

Alongside the photo, which she took in the bathroom of her hospital room, the brunette wrote, “I took this yesterday when Leonardo was about 24 hours old. I did the same thing right after Rafael was born. It always makes me a bit nervous to do something like this, but I feel that in the age of such strong body shaming, I want to do all that I can to normalize a real body and promote healthy self-esteem. Many of you know that I love to show the process of life’s experiences on the body and I am a firm believer in how a good diet and the right balance of exercise make us happy, healthy, and strong. So from here on, I want to dedicate the majority of my #366daysoflivingclearly #hilarialcm daily posts to getting back in shape and I invite you to do it with me.”

In the interest of full disclosure, Baldwin added that for the photo, she removed the pads that new moms wear after giving birth vaginally because “there is a limit to how much you need to see,” she joked. She also appears to be wearing zero makeup in the picture.

Fans reacted with gratitude and support. One wrote, “I admire you for sharing the very REAL you — you don’t have to and by doing so you subject yourself to trolls that will shame you for anything … You are amazing for all the right reasons…” Another user commented, “Congratulations, and thank you for being such an amazing role model to women everywhere who are body-shamed every day.”

Baldwin is also mom to son Rafael and daughter Carmen. In another photo on her Instagram, Baldwin is posing on a city sidewalk with little Carmen; the two are wearing matching tiaras. Baldwin went along with the stunt because she felt it was important not to demonstrate shame to her daughter.

She wrote, “I love that my daughter is such a free spirit. I know that if she dresses me up in something that she thinks is beautiful and I act embarrassed, she will start to become self-conscious. Self-consciousness is part of growing up, but I want to delay it for as long as possible. Sometimes being a parent is about allowing the silly and swallowing pride and ego to make your baby’s dreams come true.”
