“In the potty!”

Like most parents, Stacia Wright was looking for a pain-free way to potty train her daughter Ginneh. According to the Mayo Clinic, potty training can be a trying time for both parents. They strongly recommend parents consider patience and timing when determining the best time to potty train.

“Potty-training success hinges on physical and emotional readiness, not a specific age. Many kids show interest in potty training by age 2, but others might not be ready until age 2 ½ or even older — and there’s no rush. If you start potty training too early, it might take longer to train your child.”

Hoping to turn the potty into something fun rather than stressful, Wright came up with a song — and the Internet can’t get enough of it.

“Potty Training my 2 yo turned from daunting to hilarious when she and I made up this new potty song together!” Wright says in the video’s description. “Who knows if it will actually work but for any parents out there trying to Potty Train…this ones for you!”

Since posting, the video has already been viewed more than 37,000 times. While the lyrics are pretty simple — “You gotta tell mommy when you need to pee” — the catchy tune is certainly difficult to get out of your head. And it doesn’t hurt that her daughter Ginneh is totally adorable.
