For those with curly hair, you probably know the struggle: Finding a curly hair product that actually works and tames your curls is no easy feat. I've tried hundreds of products over the years, but the one that I can actually swear by is the Moroccanoil Intense Curl Cream.
I've got thick, curly hair that on most days has a mind of its own. To maintain it, I use the Moroccanoil Intense Curl Creme right after stepping out of the shower, since it's a rich leave-in conditioner that helps to hydrate, detangle and define curls.
It enhances and defines my curls, keeping my hair frizz-free for at least few days at a time. It's a soft, non-sticky formula and is fragranced with the heavenly Moroccanoil signature scent, a blend of spicy amber and warm florals.

One thing, however, is that the product is quite thick. In order to smoothly and evenly spread this product onto the hair, I dab a dollop onto my palm, mix it with a drop of water and then massage it onto my wet curls. This method makes for an easier application, especially if you have thick hair like me. Using it twice a week, I noticed that my super dry and damaged hair feels more moisturized, and shinier. Not to mention, the scent actually lingers for a few days.
If you're having trouble taming your curls, whether it's light curls, or super coils, I'd suggest giving this conditioner a whirl - it makes a world of a difference. It certainly takes a village to work on curly hair, so besides the Intense Curl Creme, here are some of my other favourite picks that I use as part of my curly hair routine.
Intense Hydrating Mask
Once a week, I use this intense moisturizing mask and leave it on for five to seven minutes to hydrate and condition the hair. Packed with argan oil, linseed extract, and moisture-attracting glycerin, its rich and creamy formula nurtures and helps replenish moisture. This mask is best used on medium to thick dry for hydration, texture, elasticity, shine and manageability.

Moroccanoil Treatment
This is a lightweight serum infused with argan oil to treat and style the hair. It keeps hair feeling soft and shiny, and less frizzy. The non-greasy and fast-absorbing formula is fragranced with the signature Moroccanoil scent, and I’ll often use it for conditioning touch-ups instead of a dry shampoo.

Curl Control Mousse
No matter how much product you put on curls, you always need to finish hair with a styling treatment. I usually opt for the Curl Control Mousse, which gives more definition to my tresses. This is a non-greasy, lightweight foam designed to define curls and seal in moisture, while providing a long-lasting hold on the hair.

Hydrating Style Creme
This is an alternative to the Curl Creme, and can be used on all types of hair. It's a leave-in hair styling cream infused with argan oil to condition, hydrate, and reduce frizz while styling even the toughest of curls.
