Thomas Markle is reportedly launching his own fashion line

Since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding and the months running up to it, it’s been hard to avoid Thomas Markle.

Was Meghan Markle’s dad going to attend her big day, or wasn’t he? Was that because he was having heart surgery, or did that not actually happen, either? Were those photos for the paparazzi staged?

Later on, he also said it “would be easier for Meghan if I died” and hung up on Prince Harry.

Now, in a totally natural chain of events, reports say he’s set to launch a fashion line.

According to Page Six, Meghan’s half-sister Samantha Grant tweeted about Thomas’ plans on a private Twitter account yesterday morning.

The screenshot reads: “So excited about my father’s new #clothing line for men! Will keep you posted!”

For now, that’s all everybody seems to know.

Although it may sound like a strange move, given that Thomas hasn’t hesitated to talk about his daughter to the press in exchange for some cash before, it isn’t that outlandish either.

As far as we know, Thomas Markle’s CV is less packed with fashion experience and more lighting and photography experience, but perhaps he’s hoping the Markle name will be enough to catapult him to Pitti Uomo.

Or, also quite possibly, Samantha is trolling us all.
