How to Throw a Book Party in L.A.
On Tuesday night, investor Alec Gores and his wife Kelly threw a party in their Beverly Hills home to celebrate the publication of actress Roma Downey's new book, Box of Butterflies.
T&C's editor in Chief Stellene Volandes co-hosted, along with Irena Medavoy-who found out on the same day that she was named one of the best hostesses in America by The Salonniere-and photographer John Russo. There were plenty of refreshments to go around, all thanks to the expertise of event designer Steven Petrarca. Guests like Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin, Jack Huston, Gordon Ramsay, and Ron Meyer sipped specialty Casamigos cocktails (Spicy Cucumber Jalapeño Margaritas and Ginger Mint Palomas) and Bellissima Rosé Prosecco and indulged in Craig's vegan ice cream. Could it get any more L.A. than that?
